Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with an exclusive image from the upcoming SILENT HILL flick from director Christophe Gans and writer Roger Avary. As a horror fan, this is one of my most anticipated movies of the year. With the talent involved it looks like we might get the very first well made video game movie. If that happens my theory will be proven true! Video games are like any other medium. Books, comics, etc. A talented filmmaker with a respect for the material can make a great movie out of a video game. I'm really psyching myself up for this one, so I hope I don't come crashing down when I see the movie... But looking at images like the below keep my own personal hype-o-meter pushing into the red. If I was walking down the street and saw that fucking thing come crawling out of an alley, I'd just start screaming and probably never stop. Goddamn if this is going to be one creepy ass flick!!!
