Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. HALLOWEEN 2 has begun screening and I've seen tidbits of reactions from horror fans and even cast members (Danielle Harris on Twitter said: "omfg. h2 was amazing. you guys are gonn shit"). The non-cast reaction seems to be mixed, some saying it's better than the first (god, I hope so) and others just upset at Rob Zombie.

Hey folks, Harry here - and unfortunately I wish I could be enthused about this - but I'm just not. I don't want to see Rob Zombie on HALLOWEEN or any pre-existing franchise. Rob has a tremendous imagination and vision - but I honestly feel that so long as he hamstrings himself with remakes - I'm less interested. The trailer looks like a mess. It doesn't really do anything for me, but maybe it does for you. And perhaps - the film will have a life of its own, now that he's free of any direct ties to Carpenter's original.
