HIFF 29: YOU MAY SAY I'M A DREAMER
by Albert Lanier
When I was a child, I used to always hear from adults-whether teachers or other older authority figures I had no use for-that I should "use my imagination."
I always found that an interesting phrase and as a kid I would have all kinds of fantastical dreams and fantasies which I will not go into detail about here.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. This interview was the one I was looking forward to the most from my entire Comic-Con line-up. First of all, I’m a big Terry Gilliam geek. Who didn’t grow up with Python and TIME BANDITS? So, there’s that and I’ve also seen THE IMAGINARIUM OF DR. PARNASSUS, a movie I had a lot to talk about anyway. Plus they gave me half an hour, which is unheard of at Comic-Con, the home of the five minute 1:1.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Even before the tragic death of Heath Ledger, this film was high on my radar. In fact, if circumstances had been different I would have been on this set in February 08. I was in talks to come visit and as a life-long fan I was psyched to see Terry Gilliam work. Understandably, everything changed when the production was faced with figuring out how to proceed after Ledger's death.
