Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I’m seeing a slight shift in publicity, a shift I hope continues. I hate that everything has become about the opening weekend. All publicity is geared towards maximum exposure in the week leading up to the release of a movie.
But I’m starting to see the desire to push for the second and third weekends now. Paramount offered up JJ Abrams for the second weekend of STAR TREK and now we have Gerard Butler for LAW ABIDING CITIZEN.

Hey folks, Harry here with a long time reviewer on AICN, Peter Blood, and his look at LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, which we showed here in Austin last Tuesday. I liked LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, but wasn't satisfied by it. The end doesn't live up to the promise of the movie before it. At least not to me. Anyway, you'll see my review later this week, here's the good Doctor's opinion...

Hey folks, Harry here with the latest little screening. This time it is for LAW ABIDING CITIZEN - the latest from director F Gary Gray - featuring charismatic as hell actors and I've heard it's pretty damn good. We'll find out this Tuesday at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar at 7pm!

Hey folks, Harry here... What A Bummer! I followed up with Frank Darabont about the below story, and unfortunately it is true. Frank and the production parted ways over a week ago. Oh well, my enthusiasm for the production has now ebbed.

Over at The Hollywood Reporter, they're reporting that Jamie Foxx is just about wrapped up to star opposite Gerard Butler in Frank Darabont's next film, something called LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, which has been written by Frank Darabont and a well known cinematic badass, Kurt Wimmer. Jamie is going to be playing a calculating, manipulative, pissed off Father/Husband, whom's wife and daugther were murdered...
