Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little politically charged interview with one Mr. James Cromwell. I’m a big, big fan of Cromwell’s work, so when he came through Austin in the days before the release of W. I jumped at the chance to sit down with him.
As you’re probably aware, Cromwell plays George HW Bush in Oliver Stone’s examination of our current sitting president. I found Cromwell to be incredibly kind upon our meeting, but when politics came up, as should be expected given the subject matter, he got really impassioned.

To say that I’m not a fan of George W. Bush is a bit of an understatement.

I’m on record of feeling that George W Bush is definitely the worst President of my 36 year life time and arguably the worst in American History. On a personal level, I hate the guy. He may be “Born Again,” but in his eyes I still see the coke-snorting alcoholic Frat Rat that he was in his youth. I hold the Presidency as a place for intelligent, wise and thoughtful folks. Going with your gut bullshit isn’t how to govern or lead this country, much less the world.

Harry here... I'm curious as hell to watch this movie, at many levels it seems like Stone is having a shitload of fun with the material... And he needs to have fun after the run of very serious subject matters - and this film just can't get here soon enough for my tastes! I just wonder who he got to play McCain.

Merrick here...
CNN has posted (and thoughtfully provided an accompanying embed for) a clip from Oliver Stone's "W. "
I know we've seen some behind-the-scenes stuff of Josh Brolin as "W", as well as some traielr material, but I believe (with a margin for error) this is our first substantive look at Brolin as Mis-ter Pres-i-dent.

Thanks to Access Hollywood, here's your first substantial look at Josh Brolin capturing the folksy bluster of #43 in Oliver Stone's W.:

I was not an admirer of the trailer for Oliver Stone's W. (the ironic "What a Wonderful World" usage was an instant deal-breaker), but I do love the key art Lionsgate has been generating over the last month: it's smart and provocative without seeming too smug.

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
... and it looks great!
I love Oliver Stone when he’s working at peak form, but bad oliver Stone is almost too painful to contemplate. I had no idea what to expect from W., and until this teaser trailer, I wasn’t excited.
I am now. Can’t wait to see more. Watch this one quick because it might be gone soon. In the meantime, though, thanks to whoever leaked it... my interest just spiked on this one:
