Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with one of the preview pics from TERMINATOR: SALVATION that Entertainment Weekly grabbed for their Comic-Con edition of the mag. In it we see what appears to be John Connor getting up in a broken terminator's grill after throwing his helicopter on the poor metal sumbitch.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Catty headline aside, I actually liked Common's work in AMERICAN GANGSTER, but this casting announcement on the heels of the PG-13 bombshell they dropped yesterday just doesn't do anything in me to inspire confidence.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm a little pissed off at this. So, we've wanted a future war movie for a long time. That movie in the TERMINATOR franchise is akin to us seeing the Alien homeworld in an ALIEN film. It's something we didn't think we'd ever see.

Anton Yelchin is getting a lot of play right now. He'll be young Chekov in JJ Abrams' STAR TREK. He was great in Charlie Bartlett and has been a strong actor in everything from the vastly underwatched Showtime series HUFF to ALPHA DOG.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I really like Jonathan Mostow as a filmmaker, but I hated TERMINATOR 3 with a passion. That movie felt so far removed from James Cameron's films... it felt so hollow and cheesy and flat... I saw it in the theater when it first came out and tried to give it another shot on cable, but I just can't bring myself to watch it again.
