Hey everyone. Capone in San Diego here.
Just chiming in as I count the hours down until all hell breaks loose at Comic-Con tonight and tomorrow morning. There's already a sizable line outside the massive Hall H, with females of all ages awaiting their beloved NEW MOON panel tomorrow afternoon. I'll be there too, so you won't have to miss a second or decibel of it.

BloodyDisgusting has a look at Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger in Platinum Dunes' revisitation of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.
Kinda dark and silhouettey, but this suggests they may not be deviating much from Robert Englund's physical personification of the character - if at all.

My guys over at Latino Review have posted a magical, embed-o-matic review of the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake script.
I like this embed stuff they're doing - they've refined it a lot since the last go-round. Slick graphics and pretty color = hypnotized Merrick (it really doesn't take much).

Hey, everyone. “Moriarty” here.
I didn’t say rumors are bad as an absolute.
Of course they’re not. Discussion of rumors is a big part of being a movie fan. Has been as long as I’ve been a movie fan. And I would never, under any circumstance, say “never ever listen to a rumor.” That’s just silly, and if that’s what it sounded like I was saying in the last “Buzzkill,” then I’m sorry.

The Powers That Be have wrangled Wesley Strick to script New Line's NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET revisitation. Strick's previous credits include Scorsese's CAPE FEAR, the DOOM movie, and Phillip Noyce's big screen adaptation of THE SAINT.

The first question that popped to many people's minds (besides "Why?") was: "What about Robert Englund? Will he be Freddy again? He's Freddy..."
