Hey folks, Harry here... As I was watching CNN HD last night - as Lou Dobbs went to commercial - suddenly a green MPAA trailer screen filled as a voice said, "And now an exclusive look at the new STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS trailer" -- And I watched this trailer and felt glee... You know - the modern Star Wars trilogy - which I did enjoy... but I was always conflicted by the CG... it felt like it wanted to be a cartoon. It seemed that George, honestly, was wanting to have absolute visual control... and that really does work best in the animated format.
Hey folks, Harry here... I really needed this - and when a friend sent this over - I just had to share. This isn't movie news - it just happens to be something hilarious that I really enjoy. Here ya go:
Hey folks, Harry here... I'm jazzed about this. I mean - it'll be weird as fuck sitting - waiting for something STAR WARS - and to not get the 20th Century Fox logo - but maybe a new beginning is exactly what we need. I'm excited about this series.... and the idea that something along the lines of 30 - 30 minute episodes are apparently completed... and that we'll get to see this first set as a feature film experience (only thing better would be if they told us it'd be in 3D) - well I'm ready. I'm just curious... will a mania develop for this film. Will there be...
Hey folks, Harry here... According to the highly reliable folks at Action-Figure.Com it seems that in the UK, at least, the first 3 episodes of Lucasfilm's animated CLONE WARS - will get theatrical distribution of the 90 minute film. Will the U.S. get the same treatment? God, I hope so. That'd rule! I could imagine Lucas doing this for Digital Theaters only - plus earning some extra coin. Thanks goes to Tolomey for this awesome Super Bowl day rumor!
