Hey, everyone. “Moriarty” here.
Okay... time for a wee bit of shameless self-promotion. If you’re in the Los Angeles area this weekend and you’re a horror fan, I’m going to assume you already plan to attend the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention. If not, you should. They’ve moved to the LA Convention Center this year, and it’s going to be a fairly huge event.
And somehow, someone thought having me as part of a panel was a decent idea. I’m as surprised as you are.

I am – Hercules!!
The folks behind the Showtime’s “Masters of Horror” have been given a 13-episode order for “Fear Itself,” another anthology series.
Expected to see air next summer or earlier, it will be the second anthology series to find its way onto NBC this season, following “Heroes: Origins,” which bows in April.
Both “Masters” and “Origins” make use of big-screen talent behind the camera, so I’m guessing “Fear Itself” will follow a similar path.
NBC declined use of the “Masters of Horror” title, likely because NBC isn’t likely to get as graphic or gory as the episodes that ran on Showtime.
