Harry saw the first 25 minutes of DJ Caruso's EAGLE EYE with Shia and Michelle and Billy Bob!

Hey folks, Harry here... Now I know that Shia isn't beloved amongst you talkbackers and that his swinging with the monkeys will probably go down as one of the most loathed scenes in Lucasfilm history (can you name the rest?) - but folks - Shia is the star of a film coming this September that, from the look I had at the first 25 minutes... could be one helluva ride.

EAGLE EYE Is One Very Big Movie

Mr Beaks here...

Those of you who (wrongly) brushed off D.J. Caruso's DISTURBIA as a teen-skewing ripoff of Hitchcock's REAR WINDOW might be inclined to turn up your noses at his follow-up: the innocent-man-on-the-lam action/adventure EAGLE EYE. If so, you really need to watch this mayhem-laden theatrical trailer hosted by Yahoo! Movies (which'll probably be attached to every print of WANTED this weekend). Why isn't this coming out in the summer again?

DJ Caruso & Shia are back with EAGLE EYE - the teaser is teasing right now!

Hey folks, Harry here... ice pack on knife wounds in belly - very little pain, but boy coughing or peeing sure does require those ab muscles that were punctured to scream. I've decided it wasn't Cobra Kai that kicked me in the stomach - but that bitch from FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE... damn that shoe!

Quint vibrates on the set of DJ Caruso's EAGLE EYE starring LaBeouf, Monaghan, Chiklis & Dawson! Plus Y: THE LAST MAN tid-bits!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little rundown of my time on the set of DJ Caruso’s DISTURBIA follow-up called EAGLE EYE. The flick is an actioneer starring everybody’s favorite Shia “The Beef” LaBeouf. (PS Keep an eye out for Y: THE LAST MAN details direct from DJ Caruso and LaBeouf!)

Vic Mackey to manhandle Shia LaBeouf in EAGLE EYE!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I quite liked DISTURBIA and am looking forward to Shia LaBeouf and DJ Caruso's follow-up to that flick: EAGLE EYE.

Especially now that Michael Chiklis is attached. He'll play the Secretary of Defense, of all people.

EAGLE EYE gets another hottie!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Just a few days ago we ran a story on the casting of Michelle Monaghan in DJ Caruso's DISTURBIA follow-up EAGLE EYE, starring Shia LaBeouf. Now we have new news... well, not really new news. Kevin Smith kinda broke this a few days ago on his MySpace page... linking to an MTV.com interview... So, it's just us that are slow. Sorry...

Apparently, Rosario Dawson was originally going to star in Smith's ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, the part even written for her, but when Smith changed up his shooting schedule (he swapped his horror movie RED STATE to roll second, instead of first) Dawson had to drop out, having already committed to EAGLE EYE.

Shia LaBeouf gets a MILF for his next flick with DJ Caruso: EAGLE EYE!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We've talked about this flick before on AICN. I can't speak for the rest of the contributors to this site, but I really dug DISTURBIA and I'm glad DJ Caruso finally made a worthy follow-up to his great first two films: BLACK CAT RUN and THE SALTON SEA.

Shia LaBeouf is starring in this flick as a young man who is framed, along with his mother (Correction: not HIS mother, but A single mother... okay, that makes a little more sense), as a terrorist. They are both forced to join an active cell that is planning a political assassination.

Get ready for another double shot of Shia LaBeouf and DJ Caruso in EAGLE EYE!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I think Shia LaBeouf has kind of gotten the shit-end of the stick in recent times. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves from a lot of people. There's not many of his generation that has the charisma and immediate likability on top of actually being able to act. I think DISTURBIA's success can be laid at his feet and if TRANSFORMERS works at all when the giant robots aren't blowing each other up, it'll be because the audience can connect with LaBeouf.

That said, I think there is a danger of overexposure. He was on the radar and then with INDIANA JONES 4 he's been everywhere and will continue to be everywhere.
