Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Instead of dropping 3 paragraph stories for each title covered in the big Disney Animation Presentation, I think I’m going to break it up into two more stories. One will covered Pixar and their slate and the other will cover the slate of Disney Animation.
This one is Pixar-centric. I’ll write up Disney’s tomorrow.
Here will be news, footage, stills and filmmaker discussions about WALL-E, UP, TOY STORY 3, NEWT and the theatrical re-releases of TOY STORYs 1 and 2.

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
This is going to be one special movie.
You can whinge about Johnny 5 or E.T. all you like right now, but based on what I’ve seen, I’m prepared to go on record as predicting this will be the single biggest movie at the box-office in 2008. I think this is going to connect for people on a global scale in a way we see once in a long, long while.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Pixar is the awesome-o. WALL-E looks like a worthy addition to the Pixar Library... and now there's a new poster featuring the cute little bugger which popped up over at Animated-News.com (thanks to "LittleBird-E" for the heads up)!

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
My son is absolutely smitten with the WALL-E trailer. He imitates all of WALL-E’s moves, he can do the voice from the end of the trailer, and he now calls every toy robot in the house by the same name. I can’t wait until we can see this one together next year.

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here. Sometimes you just know that you're going to like and get along with someone, and Jeff Garlin was just one of those people who I knew would be fun and open in a conversation. The man did not disappoint. I'm a recent convert to HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," having watched every episode leading up to the current season on DVD in the last year.

Hey folks, Harry here - Seems Quint was slightly ahead of Disney's planned release - so if you liked the below link - you'll love the HD quality teaser you'll find HERE!!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Is it possible that Pixar is getting even better than they have been in the last few years? They can do no wrong. I even like CARS, so I guess I'm a bit of a Pixar fanboy, but damn if the bits of WALL-E I saw at Comic-Con didn't knock me out... and the trailers so far... and this new one, which hit a French site a couple days ago, but just found its way to my attention thanks to Jerome. I love it... and I really love the new Pixar logo bit...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Of all my regrets from Comic-Con, of all the panels I had to miss or footage I had to skip out of for interviews, my biggest regret by far is that I had to leave the WALL-E panel halfway through in order to interview Robert Downey Jr.
If it was almost any other interview, I would have blown it off… and if I had known they were screening the first 5 minutes of WALL-E I might have even left Downey hanging. It’s Pixar… I’m sure he’d understand.
I did see much of the panel, including Ben Burtt (legendary sound designer whose work on STAR WARS is a great part of why we love that movie today… think about it. He invented the lightsaber noise. He invented that unique laser blast. He invented Darth Vader’s breathing) who did a live sound mix for us on the stage, illustrating how he gave voice to WALL-E.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here.
Comic-Con ended two days ago, but it seems like it’s still going on. I guess this is how Vietnam vets feel. Some part of me somewhere is still running around that floor, trying to figure out how I can watch the Sony panel and interview the director of WALL-E at the same time.
I was able to post up my Rogue/Focus panel thoughts before I left San Diego and now is when I catch up on the last of the panel coverage I have. I still have at least 6 interviews to post (watch tonight for two of them) and those will all be up by this weekend.

Hey folks, Harry here with a report from Steve Yun on Pixar's Comic Con panel - Sounds fantastic. Meanwhile... Did you see something that wasn't covered on AICN's coverage thus far, by all means - send your report in to our address so we can let the rest of the world know, asap! Here ya go...
Hi there Harry, this is Steve Yun
I noticed that you guys don't have a report for the Disney/Pixar panel at San Diego Comic-Con. I was there yesterday for the two hour panel. The first half was about Prince Caspian, the second half was about WALL-E. I'll tell you about WALL-E for this report.

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
Man, this one makes me all gooey. I’m floating around on a Pixar high this week after seeing RATATOUILLE for the first time, and the only bummer about my screening was that there was no trailer for WALL-E. I can’t wait to see this one on the biggest screen possible. It’s a beautiful summary of where they’ve been so far as a company and where they’re going, and even though I think it’s still fairly early days for this film in terms of being technically polished, it’s looking good. Count me in right now, and if you think I’m overreacting, you can go check the trailer out yourself:
