Midol Girl has seen Ben Garant's Balls (of Fury)!!!

Warning! If you are expecting a short & spicy Balls of Fury review here, click away now. If you have a minute of time to waste (you must, you’re on a movie/comic book website) then get comfy, push your glasses up your nose and assume your favorite mouse scrolling movie geek position.

There have been so many comedies in the past few years like this one leaving a bad taste in my mouth that I think I snapped a little when I started to do a write-up on this flick. I cracked my knuckles sat at my computer and after a few twitches and flashbacks of “Balls” words were spewing out of my hands onto the keyboard so fast that by the time I was done, I had written an essay on “what makes a good comedy work to me and why Balls of Fury really was just Balls of Sucky”…err I mean, sucked balls to me. Not mine specifically because I don’t have any (that I know of?) but you get the drift.

"Sirvalence" grabs him some BALLS OF FURY at Comic-Con and tells you about the flick!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I was also at this screening of Ball of Fury at Comic-Con. I'll have my review soon, but let me say that I really wanted to love this movie and ended up thinking it was okay. If you've seen the trailer, you've seen most of the funny gags. However, you will not be able to resist the power of the Walken! Enjoy the review!

Hi.

Long time reader...etc.

I was at Comic Con 2007 in San Diego, CA. this weekend, and was one of the 450 let into the theater to see the "world premier" of "Balls of Fury" The Thomas Lennon (Reno 911), Ben Garant, Kung-Fu/Ping-Pong comedy.

More from Quint at Comic-Con! Neil Marshall's DOOMSDAY! BALLS OF FURY! Lo Pan! THE STRANGERS! CORALINE! More!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Time to catch up a bit on the Comic-Con coverage. Yesterday ‘bout damn killed me. I did 6 interviews, jumping in and out of panels all to do them. Next year I really need some help. I missed too much this year.

Also, looking back on it I’d say that this was one of the Con’s more off years. We had that one great movie panel (Paramount with Trek, Indy 4 and Iron Man), but I was underwhelmed by the Con on the whole. Nothing was too terribly disappointing, but the showmanship seemed out of the con.

However, I did like a lot of what I saw. The Rogue Panel featured BALLS OF FURY, THE STRANGERS and DOOMSDAY.

BALLS OF FURY poster slaps across the Internet...

Hey folks, Harry here... want to see a filthy PG poster for a movie called BALLS OF FURY? Here's their wildly phallic poster - yet palpable for children of all ages. Don't you think? Meanwhile there's a hilarious cast - including Christopher Walken, Maggie Q, MASI OKA, Patton Oswalt, George Lopez, Dan Fogler, Jason Scott Lee, David Koechner, Brian Posehn, Jim Lampley and many more. But none of that is really on display here... here, you get the visual Pun of it all...
