Hey folks, Harry here - So far we've been presenting you local Texan readers of AICN with a good deal of screening events here at the Alamo South - and hopefully that run will continue. This week we have PRINCE CASPIAN lined up - and it should be something fun. Moriarty has seen it - and enjoyed it, but he can't say that due to "Embargo" - but nobody told me I couldn't say that Moriarty liked it... God forbid we tell you that. Heh. Anyway - we'll be seeing for ourselves quite shortly... Hope to see you there!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Is there any place I can start a petition to erase Chicago O’Hare off the face of the world?
Seriously, this airport has fucked me over so many times (even when I’m nowhere near it… I once had a flight cancel on me when I was on the East Coast trying to get back home to Austin because my Austin plane originated from O’Hare)… can’t we open up a new airport and demolish the horror show that we call O’Hare?

Merrick here...
You would have found them at a link here, but the Mouse House cracked down and swept them back into the vault... Oh well...
I thought the first film was okay enough, but was kind of dull. I'm hearing they solve this issue (to a large extent, at least) this time around...so I'm curious to see how this shakes out.

Merrick here...
There's a sizzle reel/making of kinda thingie online for PRINCE CASPIAN.
It talks a bit about what we can expect to see in terms of technological advancements this time around (fight mechanics & creature choreography during action scenes, for example) & offers an intriguing glimpse of what's coming our way when the film opens in May.
Check it out via the often-muddy miracle of YouTube, below!

Hey folks, Harry here... It seems that PRINCE CASPIAN is steaming it's way towards us and everything I've seen on it points towards a more sinister, darker rendition of that war-torn land of Narnia. All those cute critters and they just arm themselves and hack at it. What's the purpose?

I’m gearing up to write my set report from my recent trip to Prague, but as a way of teasing that report, Disney was kind enough to send over a batch of PRINCE CASPIAN concept images that Howard Berger handpicked out of all the work that’s been done on the film.

I spent a fair amount of time talking to Howard while I was in Prague, and as always, I thought he was a blast. He loves what the Narnia films allow him to work on, and his kids are a big part of that, completely amazed at the world their dad is helping to bring to life.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here.
Comic-Con ended two days ago, but it seems like it’s still going on. I guess this is how Vietnam vets feel. Some part of me somewhere is still running around that floor, trying to figure out how I can watch the Sony panel and interview the director of WALL-E at the same time.
I was able to post up my Rogue/Focus panel thoughts before I left San Diego and now is when I catch up on the last of the panel coverage I have. I still have at least 6 interviews to post (watch tonight for two of them) and those will all be up by this weekend.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a gaggle of spy pics covertly taken by a mysterious tall, dark and handsome spy named codeeater from Germany. I look at these pics and I just get homesick for New Zealand.
The codeeater from Germany (translated from German to English through babelfish) says that they were shooting some long shots from the boat of the kids arriving at the beach and some close shots from behind the kids at they walked onto the shore. These could be doubles... the little girl doesn't much look like Lucy from the first movie, nor does the older guy much look like Peter.

Hey folks, Harry here - seems that Walden Media and Disney are continuing to mine the British Isles for talent in their NARNIA series. Well, at least in terms of who is playing Prince Caspian. Read below...
Hi Harry & Roberto,
There was a story in "The Times" on Saturday that Disney has finally found their Prince Caspian - the lead and title star of the next "Chronicles of Narnia" movie. It's a 25-year old British actor called Ben Barnes.
Ben has a small part in Matthew Vaughn's "Stardust" (of which much discussion on AICN already...) and is apparently amazing as the lead in a new indie UK movie "Bigga than Ben".
