Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
I’ll say this about TEETH... it’s not what I expected.
This is a film that I would say you should not read much about before you see it. I managed to go a full year without reading any spoilers for it, and when I finally saw it, I was truly surprised by what film it is, especially since I was sure I had it figured out.
Here’s a guy who went to the AICN sponsored FANTASTIC FEST sneak screening of TEETH, and he definitely treads into sensitive territory in his review.

You know – for a movie about a tooth filled vagina that bites fingers and penises off – this film plays a lot like a Cronenberg-esque HEROES episode about a young girl with a strange power and a lot of awkward, vulnerable and heart-achingly true scenes of what it is like to be an innocent girl coming to terms with her budding sexuality and the inherent power of the vagina.

Hey folks, Harry here -- TEETH is coming soon - this Thursday - AICN is hosting with FANTASTIC FEST - a screening of the film with the director at the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE SOUTH! I'm very jazzed to see this - even if it is nearly a year after it debuted at SUNDANCE before our own salty Seaman's eyes. Quint is again headed to the AICN Sundance Love Nest with our own Kraken and Rav... I can not wait to see what they pry open this time! Here ya go...

Hey folks, Harry here... Neil Cumpston recently called CLOVERFIELD the movie where the pussy eats you out - but ya know what - that was pure hyperbole. Here... we have a film that really is a pussy that eats you out! And only Aint It Cool and Fantastic Fest will bring you the pussy that eats you to eat you and thrill you and entertain you. Shit - this pussy can do just about anything I bet and I can't wait to see it! I'll see you there!

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
It’s interesting how much this one divides people. If there’s anything that I respect about Zombie’s HALLOWEEN, it’s that the people who like it seem to really like it, and the people who sincerely dislike it seem to have genuine reason to do so. It’s divisive, and horror should be. It’s not a genre about making the entire audience feel good, so even if I dislike a horror film, when I hear that it’s causing such passionate reactions, that’s a good thing. It means people are at least talking about what they’re watching and not just treating it as disposable.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some thoughts on the first few films I've seen today. I started the day with:
DELIRIOUS
Directed by Tom DiCillo (LIVING IN OBLIVION) and starring Michael Pitt, Steve Buscemi and Alison Lohman.
Pitt, the lucky bastard in THE DREAMERS, is a homeless young man who falls in with Steve Buscemi's character, a "professional photographer" (read: paparazzo in denial) and learns the ropes. He learns how to sneak into parties, where the goodie bags are and who will bring big money when photographed.
Alison Lohman plays a famous pop singer who is a prime target for Buscemi, but through an odd twist of fate, ends up stealing Pitt's heart and vice-versa.
