Evidently, this commercial premiered tonight during NBA coverage and on Adult Swim and in a few other places.
All I can say is Bruce Campbell continues to prove that he is one of the most effortlessly hip and funny men alive, and Duran Duran has never sounded cooler.
I really, really like Richard Stanley, and I think so far, he’s gotten a bum rap. Part of that is because he’s a prickly, hyper-intelligent guy who doesn’t seem to be able to play the studio game very well. Part of that is because of his legendary meltdown involving THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU. But I hope this report from FilmIck is correct, because if so, it means we might have some new Stanley to look forward to, and that he’ll have a really groovy movie star in the lead:
