Hey, everyone. “Moriarty” here.
It is not a new thing for me to get e-mail about Rambo.
Longtime AICN reader and talkback regular AB King has had my e-mail address for over a decade. I would estimate that he alone is responsible for over 45 billion e-mails that mentioned the character Rambo during that time. And that’s just him.

Sylvester Stallone is my fucking hero. Not in that boyhood, 13 year old way. No. Oh sure, he was that hero to me once. But he's my hero now for a completely different reason. You see, Stallone has figured out how to do what we've been asking of our artists for more than a decade now. He's figured out how to let our heroes grow up with us.

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.
People are seeing it all over the place now, and it looks like we’re starting to hear the same basic thing over and over, and I’m not shocked at all.
Check this out:
Yes, I have also seen Rambo just like you Harry.
(BTW I will have some spoilers)

Last night AICN hosted a screening of RAMBO. There doesn't seem to be a lot of screenings of this out there - but we filled two theaters loaded with people eager to see a RAMBO movie - and man... afterwards - we all had these goofy grins. In our Q&A with Stallone - he stated that his opinion of what an Action film is supposed to do, is to tighten the abdominal muscle group and be a visceral ride.

Hey folks, Harry here... been a weird day - but I just got back from RAMBO at the Alamo Drafthouse Village - and I feel like it's the fucking fourth of July... I wanna blow shit up! This is a great time. I'll go more into that in my review. But for now - here's the 4th day of Questions and Answers with Stallone. Here ya go...
1. The stick fight in Rambo 3 was one of my favorite
Rambo moments, what do you remember most about filming
that scene?

Hey folks, Harry here with another edition of Ask Rambo. See if Stallone is in the new Terminator movie. What happened to that car in COBRA? Was Stallone going to be DR WHO? These insane questions and more have answers waiting for you. Enjoy...
1. I read that after watching Highlander you
hand picked Russell Mulcahy to direct RAMBO III, then
fired him due to artistic differences. I seem to
remember an interview with him saying you wanted to
many close ups! Any comments? P.S. I've been a
massive fan since discovering the Rocky movies in the

Hey folks, Harry here... Due to Stallone's Publicity schedule, he'll be picking up Day 3 on Monday... so enjoy Day 2 - there's some awesome stuff here.
1) As much as I love the whole Rocky series, the first and last ones fit so well together. Would you consider doing a "Godfather Saga" like cut of Rocky incorporating much of the first and last, and bits from the others?

Hey folks, Harry here... between being hit with this evil flu virus and installing a Wii today - I haven't gotten much of anything done. But I did have a conversation with the wondrous Celeste of Stallone's office and the Sly one wants to do a quick down and dirty 10 questions a day for 5 days beginning this coming Monday through Friday. I'm going to send the first batch of questions this Thursday. As you know - Stallone has a new RAMBO movie hitting January 25th here in the U.S. of A. So if you have questions about that film, I'm sure he'd love to answer them...

When word first came around that Stallone was making a new RAMBO movie, we received lots of mail (and Talkbacks) about whether or not Jerry Goldsmith's "Rambo Theme" would be used in the film.
Shortly thereafter...in an interview I can't track down at the moment...composer Brian Tyler indicated his intent to springboard off of Goldsmith's classic themes.

Colonel Trautman sent in this look at RAMBO.
He viewed an unfinished version of the film, but says...at this point...the uber-violence we saw in the original trailer is still in-tact. This is fantastically cool news - I'd hate to see 'em whimp out, because we need a film with balls right about now.

Hey folks, Harry here in Los Angeles - and this trailer was supposed to hit online... tomorrow, but fuck that noise, good news needs to hit NOW!
RAMBO - the perfect title - has its first official trailer and I can feel AB KING's heart skipping beats as he watches it 700 times in the next 10 hours. This is going to kick ass til it's bloody bruised and twitchy.
Can't wait to see this in Quicktime HD - or theatrically with an audience - and I hope they scream with glee. You know it's playing with the latest SAW IV - but enough talk, it's time to kill... RAMBO-style...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I know there's no shortage of Stallone love here at the site, but I do like this poster. The footage so far has been crazy in the best '80s cheese kind of way I could hope for. The poster is very modern, but it's stark and remembers that Rambo is an action icon. Notice the title now just simply "RAMBO."

Now it'll be called RAMBO TO HELL AND BACK. Which (in my mind) blows the no-bullshit simplicity of the original title, as well as JOHN RAMBO's symmetrical association with the title ROCKY BALBOA. So says THIS PAGE at the Lionsgate site.

Hey folks, Harry here... trying out our new spanking cool server with a story about John Rambo and AB King's hero Sylvester Stallone! Very cool. I'm curious as hell to see how this icon of 80's "kill a commie for mommy" movies fares in the 21st Ce
