Hey folks, Harry here with a helluva cool batch of awesome. I got sent these as spy pics - My understanding is that there are nine of them, the ninth got sent to Moriarty (under the pseudonym Drew McWeeny) over at HitFix... he has Hades with Harpies. No, not Mickey's dog. I can tell you from my set visit that this film is going to surprise a bunch of you. I haven't been real pleased with a lot of the photos from the film that have been released thus far...

Entertainment Weekly and Empire have unveiled some images from Louis Leterrier's remake/reinvention of CLASH OF THE TITANS. Really liking the way this looks so far - can't wait to see stuff that's in motion.

Hey folks, Harry here... So far everything I see on CLASH OF THE TITANS remake - makes me feel they're going for intensity. Sam has that down pat. Obviously, what I'm still awaiting is a look at just what scale and style of fantasy the locations and critters are going to be done in. For example, that shield is more from the Uruk Hai LORD OF THE RINGS universe than anything I've seen in classical culture. So what I'm curious about is this... is that Perseus shield or one that he picked up in the midst of a fight?

Empire magazine recently printed the first official photo of Sam Worthington as Perseus in Louis Leterrier’s CLASH OF THE TITANS remake/redux/reimagining/whatever. The photo was subsequently presented by /film, whose scan appears herein.
The article, linked below, also offers a brief synopsis of the film, whose structure seems tweaked from the original's.

Hey folks, Harry here... I don't know about you, but I've kinda had my fill for now of the traditional ancient warfare movies. There's only so many times you can see Armies of hundreds of thousands of computer controlled characters running into each other. And even if somehow it was the great battles of yore and they managed to employ 100,000 crazy fucks slicing each other up - I'm kinda glad to see Hollywood revisiting the mythological times of yore. With creatures, gods and beasts of all sorts.

Sam Worthington is in talks to become Perseus in Louis Leterrier's CLASH OF THE TITANS remake. The role was played by Harry Hamlin in director Desmond Davis' 1981 progenitor.
Worthington's become quite the Genre Boy these days, having recently filmed TERMINATOR SALVATION and James Cameron's AVATAR (whose previously rumored IMAX 3D release is now official, by the way).

Hollywood Reporter tells us that Lawrence Kasdan has been wrangled to script a remake of 1981’s CLASH OF THE TITANS. Travis Beacham had previously made a run at scripting the same project. With Kasdan on-board, hero Perseus will now be middle aged, angst ridden, and running about half naked swinging around his…sword. I’m kidding (I think). Don't get mad at me for making a lewd sword joke. Hollywood Reporter refers to "Kasdan's mighty pen".
