Remember that little tussle a while back when The Powers That Be at Paramount said we'd get another TRANSFORMERS movie in 2011? Then Michael Bay indicated he wanted to take a year or so off & more or less said we wouldn't get another TRANSFORMERS movie until 2012?
Well...whatever that was about...has apparently been resolved.

Though Michael Bay didn't exactly go out of his way to placate the TransFans during the production of the first TRANSFORMERS, he did make one very wise concession: he brought back the inimitable Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime. Regardless of what Bay and his team did to the design of the character (I had no qualms with any of their alterations), it would've been wrong to hear anything but Cullen's baritone rumbling forth from the leader of the Autobots.

It's Steve Jablonsky's score for TRANSFORMERS. To be clear, this is NOT the rock compilation album that came out before the movie hit. This is the film's orchestral score.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The extensive SuperHeroHype Message Boards are rich with these snuck pics from TRANSFORMERS. Seems like those board guys pop up with a new pic every day! On top of that, there's a pic of a street mock-up with a ton of transformers standing around, coming from Seibertron.com. They're just cut-outs, but you can get a good idea of the scale difference between each character. Tons of goodies around. Here are the pics!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the interview I conducted with young Shia LaBeouf on the set of TRANSFORMERS (click here to read my report from the set!). I've had bad experiences with onset interviews before. Usually actors and directors are, understandably, focused on doing their work and are more annoyed than usual when they have to stop and talk to the likes of me. The interviews are usually grabbed between set-ups and are rushed, short and uncomfortable. So, you could imagine my surprise when I was more than a half hour into this interview with LaBeouf and you can further imagine my shock when we finally stopped 45 minutes after I met him.
