Hey all. Capone in Chicago here.
On the day I saw Iron Man for what I'm sure will be the first of several times, there was a serious chance that it was going to snow here in Chicago. So while many other critics have been talking about how summer has arrived a little bit earlier than normal as far as movies are concerned, I choose to look at the release of Iron Man as marking the early arrival of Christmas.

Hey folks, Harry here... AICN's Annette Kellerman is not a comic book savant, however - she will own your ass when it comes to gore & nudity in film, the New Kids On The Block trivia and she will drink Tony Stark under the table. But even though she didn't know much of anything about Tony Stark... and IRON MAN - she came and had her mind blown. Before we get to her review - let's take a look at the video of our very own Jet Pack Man dressed in the most awesomely funky IRON MAN costume in the history of mankind... and let's see him FLY!!!

Oh, Favs, you did it this time.
IRON MAN is grown-up fun, a rare thing these days. It’s escapism, no doubt about it, and it’s light as air for most of its running time, even with a surprisingly high body count and a rough-and-tumble aesthetic. This is not, however, a kid’s movie, and that is such a welcome discovery that IRON MAN seems even greater than it would if it were just another kid-friendly superhero film.

How much awesome was tonight’s screening of IRON MAN at the Alamo Drafthouse South with Jet Pack Man? It was like freebasing pop tarts. Ridiculously Fucking Awesome Fun.
At 1:42pm – I called Tim League to ask when Jet Pack Man was going to be doing his test flight. Tim responded flatly and to the point with, “25 minutes!”

I don't want to oversell my selection process, but this may be the single greatest crowd every assembled in Chicago for any event...since the Great Chicago Fire. (Now THAT was an excited audience!)

May 1, at the Aero Theater 1328 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, California at 7:30 PM is a special screening of "IRON MAN" with director JON FAVREAU in attendance and a Q&A afterwards! Special guests have also been invited and you never know who just might show up unannounced!
Tickets are still available for $20.00 which the proceeds will go to charity.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. It’s been a life-long dream for me to visit ILM, Skywalker Ranch and Pixar Animation Studios (well, with Pixar maybe not life-long, but it feels like they’ve been in my life forever). In one trip to San Francisco I got to achieve a couple of those dreams. Two out of three ain’t bad, right?

This may be the most substantial scene from the film we've gotten to date (Sci Fi Channel had their Iron Man -vs- planes & missiles snippet...but I don't think it was this long...or was it?)

I don’t give a fuck what the calendar date is. I just know that IRON MAN day is coming in a few weeks, and I am ready for it. Absolutely.
The clips look great. The trailers just kept getting better. And now everyone who sees it seems to be flipping out a bit.

Hey folks, Harry here... sore as hell and feeling the burn - but here at my post doing the job. Tonight there's a new IRON MAN clip online in HD and QUICKTIME - and I'm using it as an excuse to share. When I was at SKYWALKER RANCH - I had to stop by and visit with my ex-director of JOHN CARTER OF MARS - Jon Favreau and wish him well on IRON MAN and... well... see what I could see. He was mixing on the Akira Kurosawa stage at Skywalker Sound - which had great posters for a few Kurosawa films - but also a French 2-sheet for the silent LOST WORLD. Really magnificent poster.

Superhero Hype has posted some extremely cool images from IRON MAN.
Several of the images feature Iron Man's smackdown with Iron Monger. I'm stoked that Iron Monger is in this movie; I really loved their album "The Number of the Beast" and hope some new & cool music comes out of this.

Looks like the guys over at IESB are already there and snapping photos of everything. They got some good stuff that I hadn’t seen before, like this one for Frank Miller’s THE SPIRIT...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Okay, one more… it’s 4am… I need to hit the floor tomorrow around 10am… maybe I’ll sleep in, but still… this is the last one for the night… and what a doozy.
The two biggest audience reactions I saw at WonderCon this year were for X-FILES 2 and IRON MAN. That doesn’t surprise me, but what does surprise me was that IRON MAN had the same level of enthusiasm as X-FILES 2 without any stars there.
