Fox Pulls DRIVE!!
Final Eps Off Sched!!
I am – Hercules!!

The final filmed episodes of Tim Minear’s “Drive” will not be airing this Friday the 13th after all.

A repeat of “Bones” and a new episode of “Standoff” will air on Fox that night.

Fox currently has no plans to air the final episodes. Some have speculated that these might turn up on a DVD release, but Fox has yet to announce DVD plans for Minear’s 2005 FBI series, “The Inside,” which completed a lot more episodes.

One hears Nathon Fillion has already moved on to “Desperate Housewives,” which is so funny it beat “The Office” for the “best comedy series” Golden Globe a few years ago.

Herc Deems DRIVE Fox’s
Best New Series In Years!!
I am – Hercules!!

It’s a genre-bending Fox hourlong about seemingly ordinary people – a Nebraska landscaper, an abused new mother, an Iraq vet and his girlfriend, a young paroled convict and his rich-kid half-brother, an astrophysicist and his Lohan-y teen daughter, a trio of party girls, and many, many more - unexpectedly plucked from their lives by powerful and mysterious (and sadistic and malevolent?) forces to compete in a secret cross-country road race for a $32 million grand prize.

Some are in the race for the money. Some are in the race to find out what happened to their missing (kidnapped?) loved ones, who may (or may not) be waiting at the finish line.

Learn Who Plays Nathan Fillion’s Wife On Tim Minear’s DRIVE!!

I am – Hercules!!

Amy Acker will play the missing wife of Nathan Fillion’s character on Tim Minear’s Fox action-adventure-suspense-mystery-comedy-drama series “Drive,” according to timminear.com.

Both Acker and Fillion have worked with Minear previously, on “Angel” and “Firefly,” respectively.

Minear tells Ain’t It Cool that Acker will not be a regular on the show (her character is, after all, missing), but she will appear in multiple episodes.

Fox is expected to begin airing the series, centered on a very strange cross-country road race, this year.

FIREFLY Reunion??
Nathan Fillion To Star In
Tim Minear’s DRIVE On Fox??

I am – Hercules!!

We’re getting reports from a couple of untested sources suggesting that Nathan Fillion, “Firefly’s” Capt. Mal Reynolds, is about to sign on as the male lead in “Drive,” the brilliant “Lost”-ish, “Amazing Race”-ish new action-suspense-comedy-drama from “Firefly” writer-producer-co-showrunner Tim Minear.

One gathers Fillion would play Alex, which means he would replace “Charmed” hunk Ivan Sergei, who starred in the original pilot.

We’ve been told in the past that Fox could begin airing “Drive” as early as spring.
