So, it has been brought to my attention (in a dickish way) that this rumor seems to be a recycled one from back in 2000. Check this out:

Hey folks, Harry here... A little bird flew into my Blackberry and whispered to me of a new and exciting development with the upcoming adaptation of Vertigo's LOSERS! Sylvain White is directing and thus far the announced cast has Jeffrey Dean Morgan as CLAY, Zoe Saldana as AISHA, Idris Elba as ROQUE and Columbus Short as POOCH... But anyone that is familiar with the comic - well, the curious part of it all is who would be right for the criminal mastermind that toys with the LOSERS - my source says it is JASON PATRIC - which is really good news - as Jason is as perfect as they come!

Hey folks, Harry here - I had been hearing much of what this new "spy" offers via sources on the inside. AND as of this juncture, it looks like most of this is really solid. The AVENGERS move was done with the best hopes of Favreau coming aboard, whether or not anybody will go on record saying that, it is what I've heard for a while now, and I wasn't surprised by its date movement today.

Now, these are the sorts of rumors that only time confirms, because when you contact folks involved, you get non-denial denials - and no comments. The reason is this. Okay, first off... consider this rumor... and even consider it an unlikely rumor given that Tarantino recently did an interview in which he said he would never ever have an original score to any of his films... I think he said, to paraphrase, why should he get an original score when he can hand pick the perfect cues from the best composers to have ever lived, a whole history of motion picture music at his disposal?

Two posters for the film have now been released, which you can find below. Like the headline says: I think these are pretty awesome myself...raw, inventive, unusual, compelling. And, above all, they're memorable.

It’s in your best interest to drop by the Disney panel at ComicCon, I’ve been warned, and not by Disney. By an anonymous source who claims this is one of three panels where there are going to be big giant unscheduled things a-happenin’.

CinemaBlend says Jean-Claude Van Damme (and possibly Dolph Lundgren as well) are poking at the possibility of reprising their role as back-from-the-dead super-soldiers in a new UNIVERSAL SOLDIER film.
In the wake of humongoid projects like STARGATE and INDEPENDENCE DAY, it's easy to forget that the UNIVERSAL SOLDIER franchise was launched by Roland Emmerich & Dean Devlin.

His name is Thomas Sangster. I know it takes away my manliness to say this, but LOVE, ACTUALLY is one of my favorite rom-coms. I love that film and everybody (who is a romantic at heart, mind you) that I've shown the film or suggested it to has loved it. And Sangster is part of the reason that film works.
