Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago.
I told you I'd be hounding you guys with all sorts of teasers and clips for the upcoming splendor that is UP IN THE AIR, which our own Copernicus declared "the film to beat for Best Picture this year." I happen to concur.
Today, I've got clip given exclusively to AICN that features the film's star, George Clooney, and the always-excellent Jason Bateman, who plays Clooney's boss, who is announcing his intention to saddle the solitude-oriented Clooney with a temporary partner. Enjoy!

ABC’s “Eastwick” will cease production after its 13th episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The network meanwhile has expanded its first-season order for “The Forgotten” by five episodes, but is apparently ditching "Forgotten" showrunner Lukas Reiter (“Close to Home,” “The Philanthropist”).
“Eastwick” was stronger in 18-49 than “The Forgotten” at the start of the season, but now “Forgotten” is the healthier of the two:
1.9 (2.0) (1.9) (2.0) (1.9) (2.0) (2.6) The Forgotten

“I don’t love you!!”
“I’m deeply disappointed, Don!!”
“Daddy!!”
“Sterling Cooper is for sale!!”
“What if this is my time??”
“You are in over your head!!”
“Everything’s going to be fine!!”
“How do you know that??”

Relationships are rarely undone by one catastrophic act of cruelty. Typically, the great unraveling begins with a careless utterance, followed by a thoughtless gesture, then a denial of affection, and so on. Considered separately, these are innocuous infractions; but as they accumulate, they mass into something insidious, and, before one knows it, love is dead.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. A new project from Alexander Payne is always worth getting excited about especially when George Clooney is rumored to be circling the lead.
There's something about Payne's dry comedy that really gets me and thinking of what Clooney's amiable laid back style humor could look like in one of Payne's flicks makes THE DESCENDANTS all the more appealing to me.

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here, with my second installment in my newly created and hopefully long-lasting AICN Legends, which will interviews with men and women in the film industry that I consider worthy of the title, whether they're 40 or 80 years old. For the most part, the criteria is two-fold: longer interviews than the usual 15-20 minutes, and interviews that cover a great deal of the career of the subject rather than just discussing their most recent project.
