I am – Hercules!!
Watching the gorgeous new “Rome” Blu-ray set over the weekend, I found myself pondering what the great Ray Stevenson, who played the fighty Titus Pullo, has been up to since that last “Punisher” movie. Turns out Stevenson’s been making “The Other Guys” with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and will now play the hammer wielder’s fighty and fat associate Volstagg the Valiant in “Thor.”

CONTEST CLOSED, everybody. We've had an overwhelming response--more than 200 entries, representing 400 seats requests for only 80 seats--even more so than I would have imagined. Winners will be notified very soon. For those who don't win, I'll have another contest up today for a separate screening of another movie the same night as NINJA ASSASSIN. Stay tuned!
Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Being the resident Dark Tower nerd in these parts I wanted to comment on the movements in Roland Deschain's reality.
The big movie news is that JJ Abrams commented to MTV that he wasn't looking at The Dark Tower anymore. Here's the quote:

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. When I got the call from local super publicist Brandy Fons inquiring about this rather unique opportunity how could I say no?
Dolph Lundgren was to tour Texas’ Fort Hood, observe a change of command ceremony as Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch hands over his position to Lt. Gen. Robert Cone and meet the troops, signing copies of his new DTV flick COMMAND PERFORMANCE where he plays a rock and roll drummer that stops terrorists from kidnapping the Russian Premier.

Hey folks, Harry here with something a bit out of the ordinary. What you have below isn't a formal interview. Back around the start of the year, I went to London to visit THE WOLFMAN set. It was the last week of shooting principal photography and it had been a long and trouble filled beginning. Mark Romanek, the film's original director had left shortly before photography was to begin. Why'd he leave?

Hey folks, Harry here with a helluva cool batch of awesome. I got sent these as spy pics - My understanding is that there are nine of them, the ninth got sent to Moriarty (under the pseudonym Drew McWeeny) over at HitFix... he has Hades with Harpies. No, not Mickey's dog. I can tell you from my set visit that this film is going to surprise a bunch of you. I haven't been real pleased with a lot of the photos from the film that have been released thus far...

Hey folks, Harry here... Ok - so when I was talking to Shane Black at the HIGHBALL here in Austin, I was absolutely positive that he said Orci & Kurtzman as being the producers of the DOC SAVAGE film that he was set to start writing. Turns out, that's not the case. Today, I received a call from Shane Black's manager to clarify what was obviously a very odd communication issue. (I only had one drink that night) But it turns out that DOC SAVAGE is being produced by Neal Moritz and Ori Marmur for SONY PICTURES.

Hey folks, Harry here on Twitter and the publicist for THE EXPENDABLES has posted a note saying "Cameras r rolling with sly Bruce and Arnold all together for the first time" -- We know it is in a church, because... only God could have made this happen!

HIFF 29: RED-FACED WITH VICTORY
by Albert Lanier
I once had a professor in an English class in college once observe that "people say that war doesn't solve anything."
"Nonsense" he argued "war solves a lot of things."
I recall agreeing with him then and I still agree with him years later. The very nature of war provides an indelibly bloody series of answers to numerous questions. While many questions and problems arise in the wake of war, it can be argued that the massive projection of force can solve some problems.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The first publicity still for the A-Team movie starring Liam Neeson, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Bradley Cooper and District 9's Sharlto Copely. We've seen spy pics before, but this is the first full studio tinkered with and released image.
Yep, they certainly look the characters from the TV show!
Below is the image with a link to a site called salondelmal.com where I first saw this image.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The nice folks at MarketSaw ran a hardcore rumor today, claiming a source has told them that Lucas is planning a new Star Wars Trilogy to be shot in 3-D... And that he wasn't directing, but there was rumor of Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola finally getting to make their Star Wars movies.
Yeah, so if that didn't smell already check the wording of the article...
