Ahoy, squirts! Quint here writing from the Highball as I wait for my 9pm movie at SXSW. Some news has come in and I wanted to make sure it went up as I catch up on SXSW reviews.
The biggest bit of news to hit is IGN's premiere of the teaser trailer for PREDATORS, directed by Nimrod Antal and produced by Robert Rodriguez. The presentation at Southby went swimmingly, I hear, and now you and I can see why that is.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Boy howdy, do I have some stuff to tell you folks.
I was lucky enough to get an invite to the set of TRON. It was a junket visit, which I usually don’t accept… the idea is what’s the point? If I’m in a group of 15 other online outlets the only thing I can give to you guys is a slight variation of the exact same story at the same time as other sites.

Today didn't quite end up as expected, but then, that's to be expected at a film festival. It just seems if you're me, life takes unexpected turns - and keeps you from the overall plan. I wanted to see 4 films today.
Up first was a film made locally here in Austin, but also in Russia, Houston and on the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION. That's a modest journey considering the second film, but you'll hear about that soon enough.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with my thoughts from South By Southwest’s premiere screening of THE PEOPLE VS. GEORGE LUCAS.
To be completely honest, I had no idea what the movie was going to be before taking my seat. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out what a documentary called THE PEOPLE VS. GEORGE LUCAS is about and it is everything you think it is.

Hey folks, Harry here with a neat little treat. A while back I posted a teaser trailer for an upcoming BUCK ROGERS Web Series by James Cawley, who is famous for his STAR TREK: PHASE II web series. It got me excited and I suppose it must've gotten Cawley's attention, because no sooner did I get back from THE RUNAWAYS today to find an email from James asking if I'd like to debut this exclusive clip on AICN.

Hey folks, Harry here and just as we learned that Sigourney would be a part of AVATAR, the first time around, we are learning that she will also be a part of the second film. But wait... She died, right? Yes, but her consciousness was uploaded into that TreeNet thingamagig. So does that mean she'll be just a voice, or will the Na'vi teach Jake to spirit-trip with the TreeNet, to a degree to where his consciousness is on some mystical plane of existence with Sigourney's?
