For those of you who like to complain that children's literature has lost its edge, might I recommend Neil Gaiman's CORALINE?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We just got a tipoff from someone in the know at Disney that Glen Keane is stepping down as director of the upcoming Disney animation film RAPUNZEL.
Keane is most known as a great animator having worked on Disney's animated films starting with THE RESCUERS. He's had his hand in everything from PETE'S DRAGON (one of my favorites), THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE, THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ALADDIN, POCAHONTAS and TARZAN (the latter two he also helped write).

Hey folks, Harry here... Every time before a film festival... doesn't matter if it is here in Austin or at any number of film festivals across the world, folks ask me what I'm most excited about. I know that we have a lot of wonderful stuff at this year's FANTASTIC FEST, and we have even more awesome stuff that got announced today... what with screenings of VINYAN, REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, PULSE 2 & YOUR NAME HERE with Bill Pullman showing up... along with an announcement about our extra "secret screenings".

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with El Chivo's first report from Toronto. I love that he skipped out on a bigger flick to hit a smaller one on the first day. WALTZ WITH BASHIR sounds fascinating, like a more hardcore version of PERSEPOLIS and JCVD just seems to be the fun-awesome movie of this fest season. Enjoy the words from El Chivo, or as we say here... The Chivo...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the second part of my continuing coverage of the production of Walt Disney Animation’s BOLT.
I hope you were able to give my introductory visit a read, the one where I shadowed John Lasseter for 2 hours as he worked with the directors and animators to fine-tune new scenes and give pointers during the script meeting for new lines, jokes and character moments.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with my own thoughts on Warner’s upcoming THE CLONE WARS, the newest STAR WARS title to hit the big screen.
And I’ve been sitting here watching the craziness go down with the embargo thrown at Harry biding my time writing my own review to post this morning.

For those holding out hopes for more Ninja Scroll or a live action movie Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's not time to get too excited yet. However, in both cases, news coming Baltimore's Otakon pushes the probability meter's needle a little deeper into "maybe" territory.
