Hey folks, Harry here... this is pretty darn groovy. My only wish is that they had done a full on audio production - with more voice actors and ambient sound... But overall - in the realm of limited animated Comics becoming alive... and that it is produced by Zach's company and doesn't seem to be afraid or edited for content... this should bolster your hope that all is on its way to being awesome this March! Here ya go...

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. When I went out to New York to see Disney’s unveiling of their animation slate for the next four or more years I ended up having dinner with a pair of publicists from the company.

Hey folks, Harry here with the first trailer from Hayao Miyazaki's PONYO ON THE CLIFF which is 非常に奇妙な. I mean it, this thing is just plain 非常に奇妙な. So 非常に奇妙な that I don't know what else to say about it, other than it is 非常に奇妙な. Thanks goes to Chris Brown who discovered this 非常に奇妙な trailer for the new Miyazaki film - which you can see below. But tell me, did you think it was 非常に奇妙な?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some thoughts on Pixar’s latest work of genius: WALL-E.
From the very first trailer I had a gut feeling this was going to be something special, even for Pixar. By the time I saw the finished film, I had seen the first act three times. I was blessed with a visit to Pixar when I was in San Francisco for WonderCon where they showed us the complete and finished first 25 minutes. Between that, the footage from Comic-Con, the footage shown at BNAT I figured I’d seen a good amount of the movie.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I missed KUNG FU PANDA when it first hit theaters, but I was able to catch it this weekend and really enjoyed it. The trailer for MADAGASCAR 2 looked horrible to me, but as with any studio... when you see that they know how to make a fun, quality flick you have hope that they'll keep the trend running.

Hey folks, Harry here... Ya know... WALL-E looks beautiful, but I just figured that Pixar was stepping it up. That said, Disney gave us this Exclusive Behind The Scenes Feature - and usually when I get these things I'm not blown away. The last time I was flabbergasted was when I got that exclusive... how they brought Marlon Brando back for SUPERMAN RETURNS feature - years ago... This isn't crazy tech amazing... it's just very very very cool.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here again with the second of two batches of pics from our regular spy Pitdoc, who is always dependable to give us snuck snaps from the New York licensing show! This one has Anime and Animation bent to it, including a look at MONSTERS AND ALIENS, which I'm very much looking forward to from Dreamworks. Also included is a poster for another Dreamworks movie called HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Back when Harry was working on a John Carter project I dove into the Edgar Rice Burroughs series and fell in love with this universe. Bizarre, fantastic, huge...
There's a reason they've been trying to make this movie almost since the beginning of the artform. It's a massive undertaking, huge spectacle and it is unlike anything we've seen on the screen even still to this day.
