Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a look at Zack Snyder's next flick, the animated adaptation of a popular kid's book series called THE GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE.
I must say that the movie looks exactly what I thought a CG animated flick directed by Zack Snyder would look like... and I don't mean that as a bad thing. In fact I love that this seems to be a movie for families, but one that has an edge. I get a little SECRET OF NIMH vibe off of this... maybe it's just the animated owl factor, but they both share an overall dark tone.

Hey folks, Harry here with the latest documentary about the Disney legacy - this time concerning the revolution the relaunched the Disney brand to new heights of success. That's a fascinating story. And I hope it is something we can see again. Disney's 2D animation is waiting still. The key isn't just another Princess flick... it's time for Animation to evolve at Disney. Stylistically, dramatically and to appeal to different audiences. I really want something that doesn't scream 1990's Disney.

Hey folks, Harry here with a couple of INTERNATIONAL trailers for TOY STORY 3. I don't know about you, but I remember... back at the moment I first heard that they were contemplating a sequel to the original TOY STORY. I felt it was a folly. I mean, how could you top TOY STORY. At the time, TOY STORY 2 was heading to "Straight For Home Video" Then I read the script - the script was a thing of beauty and had to see theatrical release.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. As I finally traveled back home after 18 continuous days of travel I was asked by the good folks at Disney if we would be interested in posting up the below image. I think they're doing a big countdown to the new Toy Story 3 trailer that appears tomorrow and are giving a bunch of different sites the chance to premiere of a different "new" character.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little look at Irish animated flick THE SECRET OF KELLS.
As most of you know by this point this film was a surprise nomination in the Animated Films category of this year’s Oscars. I’m sure most of you were like me when you heard the nominations… Fantastic Mr. Fox! Up! Coraline! The Secret of Kells! Princess and the Fro… wait, go back one… what the hell is a Secret of Kells?

Hey fright-fans, Harry here with the latest "Harry Toon" from Cartuna (the amazing D. Campbell MacKinlay). How could we not do a WOLFMAN animation. And while we did use the Benicio/Rick Baker Wolfman as the guideline for the WOLFMAN - we simply had to go with the original film's canes. I'm sorry, I'm old fashioned that way.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I wasn’t in Los Angeles for one full day before diving into a little bit of coolness, namely a tour around Dreamworks Animation studios following a screening of the near finished cut HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, half an hour of SHREK THE FOURTH and some rough footage from their upcoming MEGAMIND.

Hey folks, Harry here... So... Seems George Lucas is doing a Musical for Fairies. Ok smart ass, not all musicals are for Fairies! Unless you're calling me a fairy, if so you can snort my fairy dust!
According to HOLLYWOOD REPORTER's Heatvision Blog George is producing with TMNT director Kevin Munroe helming, a big animated film in Pre-Production at Skywalker Ranch.

Great news for fans of 80's cartoons. Two issues of not-easy-to-find tribute to the glorious glorified animated toy commercials of the 1980's, cereal:geek are now listed in Diamond's Previews solicitations.

Hey folks, Harry here. I don't have a strong bead on HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON yet. I'm definitely up for seeing it, but it is visually a very different looking style. Right? I just am not sure where it is all going yet. Definitely looks like it could be a good deal of fun, eh?
