The Hollywood Reporter reports Tuesday that the redhead who played Clark Kent’s childhood girlfriend in the “Superman III” movie – Annette O’Toole – will now play Clark Kent’s mom in the WB's revisionist Superboy hourlong "Smallville"! Aaaaauuuuggghhhhh!
It’s not a gag but, one must admit, it’s a great publicity stunt (if you're not the actress who was recast). If you’re as incredulous as Herc, here’s the story.
