Brosnan's Last Bond' Additional Info Added
Hey folks, Harry here... More and more this seems to be the word on the franchise... that after Brosnan finishes his next turn as BOND, we will have a new James to kick around on screen. I love Pierce Brosnan's take on James Bond, it is just a shame that he hasn't been able to make a great James Bond film yet. None of his Bond's, in my opinion, have come close to the Connery's or even the best Roger Moore efforts (THE SPY WHO LOVED ME and FOR YOUR EYES ONLY). I know that Pierce has a vision for what his great Bond film would be, but unfortunately the conservative and limited vision of those around him keep that possibly great Bond movie from happening. I wish him the absolute best on this last Bond flick of his, but remember Pierce... Never say Never...
Hey Guys,
Just some news I saw on Teletext on Channel 4 today. I hope it interests you:
Pierce Brosnan will do one more Bond movie and then turn his back on 007 for good.
That is the view of Samantha Bond who has played Miss Moneypenny in the last 3 films.
Speaking in London yesterday, Tuesday, she said "I think he'll probably call it a day after the next one. The rest of his career is going so brilliantly he can do that. Last time I saw him he was very happy."
"There will be big changes when Pierce goes. I would be reluctant to carry on because that relationship would change.
The cameras start rolling on Bond 20 next January.
Also, I will have my new issues of Empire & Total Film in 2 days so you can be expecting a lot of gossip.

Hey folks, Blue Eyes Dykes came through with an exact quote about what Samantha Bond said and he has more info on all of this at his site... check it out!
Hi Harry,
Daniel 'Blue Eyes' Dykes here with some more
Bond 20 info for ya!
Just to carry on about Samantha Bond's comments
that Pierce Brosnan may make Bond 20 his Bond outing
she has also commented that it may be her last film as
Miss Moneypenny. Exactly what she said is: "There will
be big changes when Pierce goes. I would be reluctant
to carry on because that relationship would change."
So we may lose Samantha Bond as Miss Moneypenny.
On the topic of Brosnan leaving, who would replace
him? Colin Wells, who's in the TV Show "The New
Professionals, may take up the role. It's rumoured
that he screen-tests with supporting actors when
Pierce Brosnan isn't available because of his
similarities to the Bond character, though this isn't
confirmed by EON. It's also believed that he
screentested for the role back in 1994 when EON were
casting for GoldenEye.
Hope all this helps. I've got the full
Samantha Bond article on my web site at
CommanderBond.Com which
contains a stack of Bond 20 news.
Catch ya later!
Daniel
