Oooohhhhhh this soundssss cooool. Harry here and my drool quotient for this film just spiked a bit. A kung fu version of the Arnold Police Station scene in TERMINATOR just sounds awesome! Can not wait to see that come about... Ya know the even cooler part.... you just KNOOOOOW that the score is gonna kick ass, because everything that Besson is attached to has a transcendent score.... This will kick ass hard.... I just feel it.

I just came from reading a translated version of an article in the french martial arts magazine entitled Karate Bushido which talks about Luc Besson's new film. Here's some juicy snippets from the article:

1. Jet's movie opponents include French martial arts champions Pascal Gentil, Mickael Million and Hoang Nghi (actually I haven't heard of them before, but they sound eminently qualified, in martial arts department anyway).

2. There may be a scene involving Jet fighting against three women!

3. And the final scene supposedly takes place on the first floor or a police station where Jet fights 20 policemen led by Hoang Nghi and armed with batons, quite in the manner of Way of the Dragon where Bruce Lee fights successive opponents in the backyard of the restaurant. The police will be attacking Jet in groups of 4-5. The final confrontation ends with Jet Li facing 3 attackers.

It sounds like a regular brawl fest akin to the hyperkinetic fisticuffs found in HK's best action movies. As you know, Corey Yuen shares directorship with Chris Nahon and probably has a lot more control over the action scenes than RMD.

Sounds cool though, doesn't it?
