Hey folks, Harry here...

I've had the great fortune of seeing my favorite film of the year thus far... CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON. It has just pushed past GIRL ON THE BRIDGE by gigantic leaps and bounds for me.

I am going to hold off reviewing it for a bit... I have to get my reviews of NURSE BETTY and URBAN LEGEND: FINAL CUT done, as well as my visits to the untitled Coen Brothers set and PEARL HARBOR set all written up first.

However, in brief I can say the following...

The romance in the film is of the sort that makes one's soul sing. The action is the sort that makes you want to live a larger life. Lastly, the magic is the sort that makes you dream of flying, dancing atop water, standing upon bamboo trees a hundred feet high.

Ang Lee has made not only the best Kung Fu film I have ever had the privilege of seeing, BUT... it is a GREAT FILM, period. The drama, emotion, acting and action are all at absolute peak levels.

You have never seen martial arts this grand, ever. Beautifully photographed, adrenaline pulsing and vibrant... This is as beautiful a presentation of this trailer as the net allows.
