Sigh. Now where was this friggin information right before I left for Prague? I mean... about 32 hours ago, I could've asked the guy outright. I had the chance to talk to Heath for maybe 10 minutes or so. Talked about turning down Spider-Man and Anakin... not even wanting them at all... Reasons, Spidey'd be 3 film commitment and he's not ready for that. Anakin, he doesn't want to act with a blue/green screen. Instead we talked briefly about A KNIGHT'S TALE, about a sentence or so about FOUR FEATHERS... And God I wish I had had this info which popped into my email box last Wednesday. Sigh. Personally, having met Heath... ya know... he sorta does look a bit Feral Kid-ish. Personally I hope this is true. It's much better than having someone other than Gibson play the actual Max character. And... the Feral Kid ruled. Question though... would he still grunt, do backflips, bite hands and throw a wicked boomer? File this as a wicked cool rumor... I'm working on it.

I heard on Australian radio station JJJ yesterday that the word is out that the star of Mad Max 4 will not be Mel Gibson, but Heath Ledger, taking on the role of the Feral Kid from MM2, who will have grown up to be some new kind of Road Warrior. I haven't seen this anywhere else, so it might be some kind of scoop.
