Hey folks, Harry here... A little birdy, sweet singer, told me to go check out http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Aegean/5874/patriot.html and load me up some pretty pics from the set of THE PATRIOT. While it seems that a lot of folks have already predetermined that this is a shit rip-off of BRAVEHEART... well... Ya see... In the course of history, we often see similarities... Some rather obscure normal family folks... become heroes and warriors... Sometimes inspired by previous heroes... but more often than not, it's cause they did the stupid thing the right way at the right time. BRAVEHEART was not a film about the early days of guerilla warfare... I'm excited about this film for a couple of reasons.... First, Robert Rodat's script was really really cool.... Roland Emmerich does make pretty as all hell films that can be exciting.... and Mel Gibson's big movies where he plays a raging warrior always rock in my boat. Oh yeah... and I've always wanted to see a great display of the feel of the American Revolution. Maybe these pics'll putcha in the mood....
