Hey folks, Harry here with ScriptGirl's weekly script report. I'm not particularly thrilled by the concept of a sequel to WALL STREET. It's just so rare that the exact type of lightning gets caught twice in the same bottle. It just reeks of exploitation given the immediate situation, which... if the film takes a year and a half to develop & produce - will we still be in a crisis at that point, if we are... I think the country and the world would loathe to visit the torment in the theater... and if we're not, will we be nostalgic for the pain? This is all void if it's brilliant and great, but I'd recommend to the folks at FOX to steer clear of the project if the script doesn't live up to the promise in the original.
