We've taken a few shots at, well, BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA over the last few months, but have only received a scant smattering of feedback from people who've actually seen the film (like THIS "5 out of 10" review, which we posted back in July).

I can't understand what the problem would be here. Anything from the director of the two SCOOBY-DOO movies should be smooth sailing all the way, no? See, we just can't help ourselves! So, in the interest of fair play...

A guy over at Scholck Around The Clock has actually looked upon the work. and has carefully forged an assessment of epic proportions:

Beverly Hills Chihuahua most certainly does not suck. And I will be taking my little girl to see it as soon as it’s on general release. It’s a breezy, funny, colorful and very good-natured comic adventure that youngsters are going to love, and that parents are going to enjoy despite their preconceptions. What’s truly surprising is that the trailers contain virtually nothing that’s actually in the movie – which is simultaneously a monstrous undertaking in untruth-in-advertising and a remarkable case of branding savvy.
