SOPRANOS Vets To Star In
NBC’s MUPPET CHRISTMAS!!
I am – Hercules!!
Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa, who both played captains in Tony Soprano's crime family, will star alongside Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo and Miss Piggy in NBC’s musical special "Letters to Santa -- A Muppets Christmas.”
Sirico and Schirripa also starred in ABC’s "Elmo's Christmas Countdown" special last year.
“Muppet Movie” composer Paul Williams will contribute songs to the new project. The Hollywood Reporter describes the premise:
"Letters" is set on Christmas Eve when Kermit and company mistakenly avert three letters en route to Santa Claus, which triggers a race against time to bring a happy Christmas to the kids whose wishes were lost in the mail.
