New Regency has optioned a soon to be published book called THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X, by James Patterson (ALONG CAME A SPIDER, KISS THE GIRLS, and a ton of other stuff - HERE's a list).

Described as an action adventure, "Daniel X" chronicles the adventures of a conflicted yet extraordinary teen who yearns to discover secrets about himself and his family as he battles alien outlaws who threaten life on Earth.

The project will be be Exec Produced by Patterson, Steve Bowen (an effects guy/editorial dude), and Leopoldo Gout.

The book will hit shelves in July, and can be pre-ordered HERE.

I wonder if the title is a deliberate nod to BLADE RUNNER, whose original title was DANGEROUS DAYS?
