William Monahan's next project, an undercover thriller, sounds pretty great!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. THE DEPARTED scribe William Monahan has a new flick in the works at Paramount that sounds pretty great. It's based on a true-life story about a drug dealer who opts to go undercover at an asylum for the criminally insane instead of serving his 10-to-life sentence. The purpose is to cozy up to a serial killer in order to get him to divulge the location of his 25 victims. Only the prison psychiatrist knew he was undercover.
Like I said, this is a true story and there's going to be a big story about it in Playboy later in the year.
Sounds like it could be incredible. Love the set-up. What do you folks think?
