Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The adaptation of BBC's STATE OF PLAY has been casting over the last couple of months, but now we have another drop-out. Edward Norton is following Brad Pitt out of the project. Pitt was replaced almost immediately with Russell Crowe. Norton was replaced with Ben Affleck.

Pitt apparently had troubles with the script, but Norton cited the delay Pitt caused as conflicting with a previous commitment, LEAVES OF GRASS, the Tim Blake Neslon comedy Norton not only stars in, but will produce as well.

It's popular to shit on Affleck, but I've always liked the dude. After seeing GONE BABY GONE I'm really eager to see his next directorial effort, but it'll be good to see him in a solid flick as well. Thoughts?
