I am very slow in posting about this because... because I don’t have an excuse. I was intimidated by some brand new behind-the-scenes stuff that you guys probably noticed as a slow down or weird functionality by the site for the last few days. Even so, I just dragged my feet on posting a link to something that’s been up for at least two days now.

But I’m posting it now because it’s bloody well worth posting. I am so excited about new Gilliam, each and every time, As a Gilliam fan, I always worry that he'll one day reach a place where he can't find any rat bastard executives to give him money anymore. Knowing he's making at least this one more film... that gives me hope. I like it.

I’m also really pleased that it was Phil Stubbs who broke this. That’s only appropriate. Phil’s been running the only significant Terry Gilliam fansite, and if he’s reporting this as a done deal, something that’s about to pop, then I’m sure that’s exactly what what’s about to happen. Terry Gilliam is busy with preproduction on his new picture, "The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus". He has assembled a cast including Heath Ledger, Christopher Plummer and Tom Waits.

I've just updated my website with a large concept drawing of the Imaginarium itself, together with other details from the production.
