All I know is, I’d better see me some 3D GODZILLA, goddammit. You can’t promise me something like this and then not deliver. I have faith that the guys behind this one are going to pull off something special if they get it off the ground.

And this article suggests that might not be as close to happening as I thought the last time I posted. It’s a fascinating history of the development of this project so far, and it’s worth reading for any fan of the series. Check it out:

I know you ran something on this a while back, well there's a pretty exhaustive update on the Godzilla Imax film here.

It includes a full plot breakdown and how the plot has changed throughout the production process. It seems like it's still not close to being green lit though.
