Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I have an interview I have to be on the road in about 8 hours to interview some RATATOUILLE peoples. So, I'm going to bust through the three or four stories that struck my fancy.

The first is a new film by Gus Van Sant, an adaptation of Tom Wolfe's THE ELECTRIC KOOL-AID ACID TEST. Lance Black (BIG LOVE) will script as Sant locks down the financing.

I'm not familiar with the book, but I've heard of it. It's about a cross-country road trip that Ken Kesey (author of ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST) arranged with a group calling themselves the Merry Pranksters. As they drive from California to New York (for the 1964 World's Fair), they introduce everyone they come across to LSD.

Is this Van Sant's FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS?
