Will You Be Attending The Alamo Drafthouse's 3rd Annual Rolling Roadshow? I will!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... Two years ago, I went with my father and evil nephew on a Rolling Roadshow adventure that was truly a once in a lifetime journey of epic proportions. This time... 3 days after I get married, I'll be launching off on another adventure, this time with some strange woman that will be known at Patricia Knowles. Yoko is of course way jealous of this "Patricia Knowles" whoever that is, but she'll have to chill. I will again be doing my photo essays and writing them up. Hopefully, a bunch of you folks will join the caravan, the geek wagon train as we go from Texas to West Coast to East Coast to Texas... and everywhere in-between. The details of the individual screenings will be released and when they are... boy oh boy are you going to be excited. Right now... I'm dreaming of James Bond and Fort Knox!

Here's our faithful leader, Tim League, with the details!!!

"The Rolling Roadshow Tour is not simply a series of outdoor movie screenings," says Alamo Drafthouse Cinema founder Tim League. "The tour is the culmination of everything we have worked towards at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema: fantastic Cinema happenings with celebrity guests, wacky tie-ins, contests, scavenger hunts and the thrill of watching your favorite movies in the exact locations in which they were filmed."

"I am tremendously excited to be a part of the [Roadshow] experience," says Chuck "Dorman" Bush, star of the opening film of the tour, Fandango. "I think fan support for this event is going to be unusually high so I'm going to do everything I can to help make it an extremely memorable occasion."

"Tell your boss now that you're feeling like you might be under the weather July 18 through August 15," says Roadshow co-founder Karrie League, "because we want to see you out with us on the 2007 Rolling Roadshow Tour caravan!"

The entire schedule along with details, directions, associated events and celebrity guests is posted on the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's Rolling Roadshow website: RollingRoadShow.com. Every screening will also feature an after-party sponsored by Dewar's White Label Scotch. The website also has links to the stops on the 2005 and 2006 Rolling Roadshow Tour, complete with photos of each screening and a complete description of the event and related activities.
