Hey folks, Harry here -- I'm moving today... and as I was pointing out plumbing problems to my new landlord - I get a call from David Arquette, who advised me to get a 12 pack of Bud - so the world would be my moving bitch... But more to the point David asked me to let all of you know that he's in Austin and is going to be at WATERLOO VIDEO (600A North Lamar - although this is the Video annex which is along the side of Sixth Street by Amy's Ice Cream) beginning at 6pm today to promote his flick, THE TRIPPER!

What is THE TRIPPER?

Well, I'll tell you.

THE TRIPPER is a low budget slasher film directed by David Arquette with an incredibly cool cast featuring David, Courteney Cox, Balthazar Getty, Lukas Haas, Thomas Jane, Jaime King, Jason Mewes and Paul Reubens - and that's just for starts.

The serial killer in question is an Liberal/Hippie/Environmentalist killer. Meaning he kills Liberals, Hippies and Environmentalists. And he wears a Ronald Reagan mask as he wields various implements of death. My favorite scene is this sequence when one character is trying to escape the killer and runs into a hippie trippin' camp in the woods - and gets shot in the mouth with a watergun loaded with LSD laced water and what ensues is a fantastic crazed nightmarish trip sequence of terror. That I thought was fun as hell.

Paul Reubens' ultimate hiding place - he's a promoter of a concert/love in type of thing - is just hilarious

And the Van sex is hot! And the whole thing is silly fun. The movie feels like a lot of talented friends that made something as much for themselves as it is for all of us.

So if you're in town and want to meet David Arquette and assorted folks at WATERLOO VIDEO at 6pm - then get your ass down there - he's a helluva nice guy.
