Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Every time I hear about this project, I keep thinking there's another shoddy horror remake in the works. But THE CHANGELING is not a remake of the George C. Scott ghost story, but a new flick scripted by J. Michael Straczynski.

Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment nabbed up the project, but due to Howard's busy schedule, they've given the flick to noneother than Clint Eastwood, with Angelina Jolie lined up to star.

It's a period flick, set in 1920s LA, about a woman whose son is kidnapped and later retrieved. However, the woman soon begins to suspect the child is not her child. This leads to struggles with a corrupt LAPD and all sorts of other fun.

An interesting pairing. Count me curious... I love a good suspense yarn set in period times, especially a place as interesting as LA was in that time.
