Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. TSOTSI was a great flick. Damn great flick, actually. Gavin Hood did a wonderful job with it and I'm excited to see him jump into his follow-up project so quickly. He's got himself a great cast for the film, RENDITION. Peter Sarsgaard, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have all signed up.

The flick, from New Line, will be about a CIA operative in the Middle East who starts to question his assignment after witnessing a secret police interrogation of a suspect. Will this be the first film putting a light on the new, tougher "fuck the Geneva Convention" bill that has become law? We'll see. We know that Hood hasn't shied away from tough subject matter so far and he's got a helluva cast to support him on this one.
