Here's all I've got in me right now, fatigue is setting in on night 5 of FF.

Bug is one of those rare modern theatrical plays that has translated well to
the silver screen. Not that I've seen the play. What, you think me cultured
or something? But I assume a craptastic play would not make for a good
flick.

This is a tale of boy meets girl, boy takes girl along for a
psycho-co-dependent mind-f$^k kind of story. Sticking to it's theatre roots,
Bug has, uh..., I guess that was a whopping two sets, one of which is only
seen for about 3 minutes. If you know anyone who has used too much crystal
meth or acid or mushrooms, you will enjoy/be disturbed by this film in grand
fashion. Top-shelf performances from the star of the original play's run,
Michael Shannon, from Ashley Judd (yeah, I know it may be hard to believe),
and from Harry Connick, Jr.

Add a pleasant Q and A with Mr. Shannon, this turned out to be one of the
Fantastic Fest's true gems this year. As I pointed out to the crowd, I
thought this movie so good, it didn't even faze me when my seat broke
halfway through and I was forced to sit mostly on one ass-cheek!

I was told before the movie that the critics are crapping on this one. I
like to think from the positive response the crowd had tonight that we may
be the folks to turn buzz from snore to saw.
