Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little bit of news about everybody's favorite Bad Motherfucker, Samuel L. Jackson. Appparently New Line likes the man. They have good taste. They loved the phenomenon surrounding SNAKES ON A PLANE, which they realize was 99% Samuel L. Jackson and 1% the title, even though the Box Office wasn't so hot. It still did well for an R-rated B schlocker, though, pushing nearly $60 million world-wide.

New Line has inked a deal with Jackson for a 2 year first look deal, supposedly based on many factors, including the broad range of properties Jackson chooses to involve himself with. From indies to B grade popcorn fun to thrillers to kids movies, etc. These flicks Jackson will produce won't necessarily star him, but I'm guessing most of them will. So, we'll just have to see what he chooses to bring to the table. I can't wait to see what he finds for us!!!
