Put The SHOPGIRL On Your Desktop And Play With Her All Day Long!

Hey folks, Harry here... And as part of the touchy feely guy society, I'd like to be the first to speak up and say... I think Claire Danes is really dreamy and I've had a crush on her since ROMEO & JULIET - and I actually think this film about an Older man and a Younger man pursuing a SHOPGIRL that was written by Steve Martin has potential to be something special. Now, I'm not going out on a limb and saying it'll be better than BROKEN FLOWERS or ELIZABETHTOWN in terms of "Ohmygod, I'm Shaking here" light the candles in the room when I get hom and clutch my flannel blanket that smells of vanilla and just rock back and forth dreaming and aching about love. But hey... I can say these things because well... I'm a geek, and geeks are not afraid to be emotionally grounded and honest about their vague obsessions with Hollywood sweethearts!

Hey guys,

Shopgirl trailer is up over at Apple. I don't know about you, but every time these days that Steve Martin comes out with another madcap screwball "comedy", it makes me ache for his films like Novocaine, The Spanish Prisoner, Leap of Faith, Parenthood, etc.

Here's hoping this is a gem. I wonder if he found it strange to write the story, and act in it, but not direct it. You think he kept giving the director notes?
