Fox has aired “Point Pleasant” for the last time.

Thursday’s scheduled airing of the Marti Noxon-run supernatural drama has been cancelled; Fox will run instead the premiere of “Life on a Stick” originally scheduled to air Wednesday (tonight).

Why is “Life On A Stick” airing a day late? Fox apparently ran the wrong phone numbers for several “American Idol” contestants Tuesday night. As a result, Fox is going to run a full one hour live "do over" edition of “Idol” tonight at 9 p.m.

The “Idol” results show will air Thursday at 9 p.m., followed by the premiere of “Life on a Stick.”

Just before the Tuesday “Idol” fiasco, Fox staffers were reportedly notified that the “Point Pleasant” episode originally scheduled for this week would be the last one.

The two-hour “Tru Calling” season premiere will air next Thursday. New episodes of “Tru” will follow “The OC” until its April 28 season finale. The plan after that is to fill the post-“OC” slot with hourlong editions of “Simple Life 3.”
