More DOOM info! Abe Sapien talks about being multiple Imps!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some more little bits and pieces for you DOOM fanatics out there. I'm hoping this movie works... it could be a helluva fun romp. I remember the glory days of discovering Castle Wolfenstein 3-D on one of my friend's PCs (the only family I knew that had a computer at that time... which was when computers were used by people at work to do at work things) and I remember begging my grandparents, who had a work computer, to buy DOOM. They did and I played it whenever I was over there... I took particular glee in hearing from my school friends how to enter an invincibility code so I could take down that huge goat-legged rocket launcher guy with my chainsaw or, if I was really wanting to lose a few hours, with my bare hands.
It seems that Doug Jones, who was the dude in the suit playing Abe Sapien in HELLBOY, has been Imping around on the film. Jones is almost supernaturally talented in bending his body in inhuman ways, so this sounds like good news on the Imp side of things. Now if only they set the movie on Mars and involved Hell in some way...
Hello Harry.
Love the new site.
I saw you had posted some info on the Rock in Doom and decided to look and
see if there was
anything new on the IMDB. I was pleased to see that Doug Jones (Abe Sapien
in Hellboy) is playing
a bunch of various Imps in the movie.
He has a short journal and some info on his site about his experiences
during the filming of DOOM.
Here's the link.
Until Later!
